Elaboration of a key monosaccharide building block for the automated synthesis of biologically interesting glucuronoxylan fragments
Sebastián Osvaldo Simonetti
Max Planck Institute
Carbohydrates are the third largest group of biomolecules on Earth. Their structural diversity and wide array of biological activities has made them interesting candidates for the development of new drugs. This project proposes the multistep synthesis of a key glucuronic acid-derived building block that will be used in the automated synthesis of biorelevant glucuronoxylan fragments.
