Development of an Efficient Optimization Algorithm for Biofuel Blend Design

Policies worldwide promote blending of fossil-and biofuels to meet sustainable targets. Biofuels have a high impact in the final fuel properties. The challenge in the design of biofuel blends involves the development of three main tools: 1) a database of potential fuels to blend, 2) a library of models to simulate fuel properties, and 3) optimization algorithm for mixture design. I and 2) have been done during my thesis. My stay in US let me get a deeper understanding of advanced modeling and optimization techniques required to accomplish.
