Dr. Juan Pablo Paz has been awarded the Bunge y Born Foundation Prize while Dr. Tomás Grigera has received the Incentive Prize for Young Scientists 2010 which include Physics.
Juan Pablo Paz was born in Buenos Aires in 1959 and took his physics degree and doctorate at the University of Buenos Aires, which he was awarded in 1988. From 1989 to 1994 he carried out post-doctorate studies at the University of Maryland and at the Los Alamos laboratories in the United States. Read more

Tomás Grigera was born in the city of La Plata in the Province of Buenos Aires in 1969. He took his physics degree followed by a doctorate at the National University of La Plata which he was awarded in 1998 under the tutorship of Dr. Rubén Figini. Read more

The Bunge y Born Foundation prize is a gold medal, diploma and a sum of money, while the Incentive Prize for Young Scientists is a silver medal, diploma and a sum of Money.
The Bunge y Born Foundation has to date recognized 56 researchers with its awards granted in uninterrupted fashion since its creation, while the Incentive Prize for Young Scientists has been awarded to ten scientists from a number of different disciplines.
