The course’s objectives are to develop nursing skills, increase the nurse’s role in delivering primary healthcare and to train the nurses in the use of IT in modern healthcare. The course is taught by specialists from the Department of Teaching and Research and the Family Medicine Service at the Hospital Italiano in Buenos Aires, and includes 2 modules and tutorials in an online classroom over a period of 6 months.
Those who pass the PROFAM course will receive a certificate issued by the University Institute of the Hospital Italiano in Buenos Aires and the Bunge y Born Foundation.
Applications may be received until August 22.
The winners will be selected in September and the course starts in October 2008.
