The Bunge y Born Foundation will award 50 grants for doctors to complete the Higher Distance Learning Course on Family and Outpatient Medicine. PROFAM is aimed at doctors who work in underprivileged areas which are far from training centers.
The Course, which will be held by specialists from the Teaching and Research Department and the Family Medicine Unit from the Hospital Italiano in Buenos Aires, covers nine modules, including tutoring in a virtual classroom, and lasts a year. Those selected who go on to complete and pass the PROFAM course will be awarded a certificate from the Hospital Italiano and the Bunge y Born Foundation.
Entries for the grant contest will be received until August 22.
The successful candidates will be selected in September and the course will start the following month.
