The course’s objectives are to develop an approach to the treatment of patients which is based on the best scientific knowledge available, to develop the skills necessary to work with families and healthcare institutions for the patient’s benefit, and to help individuals, families and the community to recognize their healthcare needs and use the resources available to meet these.
Those who pass the PROFAM course will receive a certificate issued by the Hospital Italiano in Buenos Aires and the Bunge y Born Foundation.
Applications may be received until August 22.
The winners will be selected in September and the course starts in October 2008.
